Materials

Salad

  • 1 whole pita bread toasted and cut into pieces
  • 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 medium tomatoes chopped
  • 2 medium Persian cucumbers chopped
  • 3 whole radishes sliced
  • 1/2 cup parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint chopped
  • 1 jalapeno chopped

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molases
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • salt & Aleppo pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients. Taste and adjust; ultimately, you want that bright, citrusy punch!
  • In a large bowl, toss together all the chopped veggies and herbs.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad, then toss it all together.
  • Top with the pita chips right before serving to keep them crunchy.
